Evaluation & Treatment

A sports injury evaluation typically includes a comprehensive assessment to understand the nature, extent, and appropriate treatment for your injury. After a history is taken, an injury evaluation, including range of motion, strength testing and a functional movement screen, will be completed.

After your evaluation, recommendations can be made for modalities (ice, heat, e-stim) future treatments, rehabilitation, training and/or equipment modifications or referral to a specialist for further consultation.

The goal is not only to treat the current injury, but to prevent future ones by addressing underlying weaknesses, imbalances and ineffective movement patterns.
