  • What is a Sports Massage?

    Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It's designed to help prevent injuries, prepare the body for athletic activity, maintain optimal condition, and aid in recovery from workouts and injuries. It includes techniques like effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, and vibration.


  • What should I wear?

    Loose, comfortable clothing for evaluation or stretching, if needed.

  • Are there any Forms I Need to Fill Out?

    Yes, there is a Medical History Form you need to fill out.

  • What is a Certified Athletic Trainer?

    Athletic trainers (ATs) are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who render service or treatment, in accordance with their education, training, and the state's statutes, rules, and regulations." Services may include prevention, evaluation, treatment,t and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.


    Athletic trainers are sometimes confused with personal trainers. There is, however, a large difference in the education, skillset, job duties and patients of an athletic trainer and a personal trainer. The athletic training academic curriculum and clinical training follows the medical model. Athletic trainers must graduate from an accredited master’s program. "

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    You will receive an appointment reminder 24 hours before your scheduled session. Any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 100% charge of booked services. A no-show will also be charged for the whole service.

  • Does Sports Massage Hurt?

    Sports massage can sometimes be uncomfortable, especially when targeting tight or injured muscles. The therapist should work within your pain threshold, and communication is key. While there might be some discomfort, it should not be excruciating.

  • How Long Does a Sports Massage Session Last?

    Sessions can vary but generally last between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the treatment goals and the areas of the body being focused on.
